What a wonderful time with families at the TES Family Literacy night! The activities were engaging, parents and children practiced together, and teachers' were glowing with pride and excitement! Great job, TES team, for the extra efforts witnessed last night!

We are excited to welcome our scholars and families to TES Literacy Night this evening! Our team has prepared an engaging night of literacy activities designed to promote reading, learning, and family involvement.
Please see the schedule and flow for this evening:
6:00–6:10 p.m. – Welcome & Arrival: Families will receive a Literacy Night Passport identifying the activities and spaces to visit throughout the evening.
Literacy Stations: Each station will last approximately 15–20 minutes. As you make your way through the evening, be sure to complete the three passport stops:
Classroom/Grade-Level Station: Receive an initial
Cafeteria Station: Complete the reading comprehension activity and receive a sticker
Book Fair: Visit the Book Fair and receive a stamp
Help Us Keep Things Flowing: To minimize long lines at the Book Fair, we encourage families to visit the stations throughout the building and complete each portion of the passport.
Complete Your Passport & Receive Books! 📚: Once your passport is complete with your initial, sticker, and stamp, scholars will receive books to take home from our Reading Specialist, Ms. Williams.
Pictures, Pictures, Pictures! 📸: We look forward to capturing some wonderful moments as we celebrate literacy and learning together!
7:30 p.m. – Closing: Literacy Night will conclude at 7:30 p.m. Please be sure to complete your passport and pick up your scholar’s take-home books before the end of the evening.
Thank you to our TES staff for your preparation and to our families for your continued support. We are excited to spend the evening reading, learning, and engaging together!
